Power of G.A.S.

Power of G.A.S.

POWER OF G.A.S., acronym for Gagliardi Art System, generated by a close and constant collaboration with the artists who took part in the first 20 years of activity at the time. Collective exhibition with works by Davide Maria Coltro, Paolo Consorti, Giuliana Cuneaz, Daniele D'Acquisto, Glaser/Kunz, Bjarne Melgaard, Arnulf Rainer, Paola Risoli, Thomas Struth, Frank Thiel, Aurore Valade, Viale Fabio, Erwin Wurm.

Looking to the past, thinking about the future, living in the present, it doesn’t matter where we are, but everything we do requires power, energy, which today more than ever is a critical asset in which everyone invests more, for personal and professional life.
In many ways art generates the energy we need, with imagination, emotion, colors, shapes, materials.
This whole symphony helps us, consciously or unconsciously, to face life day by day.
Art was born from religious subjects, and expressed the need to represent the power of the gods on Earth, and even today, after thousands of years, we seek energy in art.

We visit museums, we go to galleries, we install any type of work of art in our home that reflects something precious to us, or that gives us an emotion, ultimately that generates power, and we keep it close to us. Some may need thousands of works of art to massively fuel the need for such inspiring power, others are content with less, but nothing is hard to imagine.
Therefore, the power of G.A.S. it’s about the power of art: paintings, sculptures, digital, mixed media, everything that aids and contributes to the movement and increasingly lasting activity that art represents.

We can look at the masterpieces of Fabio Viale, who uprooted the classic marble sculptures of the past and suddenly brought them to everyone’s attention today with the application of tattoos: we need them!
We can look at the photos of Thomas Struth, from the Rome series, which immortalize what already exists for thousands of years: yes because we need these incredible Roman images in our home, under our eyes, under our control, constant feeding for our souls. We really need them!
We can look at Arnulf Rainer’s attempt to demolish Giotto’s beauty, but sorry, both stand the test of time perfectly. In reality, the contrast between colors and shades and what remains, evidently the indisputable beauty of Giotto, also lives under Rainer’s violence in demolishing the icon of art. Power to power, and we will say: we need it!

Enjoy every square centimeter of these works proposed within the frames of Power of G.A.S., and nourish your soul with energy, we are waiting for you in the gallery for further energy supplies!
